Humanity, despite our great leaps in technology and understanding of how the universe works, is a fragile race. We have sent various unmanned envoys into the stars on our behalf, never resting, never complaining, and substantially more durable, our telescopes and probes, orbiting and transiting high above our head.
It is thanks to the information gathered by them that we owe a great deal of our current understanding of how things work, from the tiniest atom, to the orbits of the planets.
